Hello! I'm Syed Md. Mahid, a photographer, editor, and creative producer based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. I'm currently pursuing a degree in Information and Communication Engineering at East West University. My journey with photography began in 2017, but my love for visuals started back in 2006 with my first digital camera — capturing family moments with curiosity and joy.
I faced many challenges in the early days, often borrowing cameras and practicing endlessly. Before owning my first camera, I captured countless stories through my mobile phone and even received national awards for mobile photography. In 2023, I achieved a milestone by purchasing my first camera, the Fujifilm X-T30 II, with my own earnings — a moment that marked both independence and accomplishment.
I work across diverse fields including food, documentary, street, wedding, fine art, and conceptual photography. Currently, I'm a photographer for Foodpanda, faculty member at Kidzana, creative producer at Quest Film, and Secretary of Design at EWUPC. My passion lies in storytelling and documentary photography, where I connect people, culture, and emotion through frames.
